1st of all... uncle Blakey got to come for a really quick trip and hang out Sunday afternoon. It was a fun visit, that had a nice nap in the middle of it all.
I also gave Lexee her first haircut to just blend it a little bit better in the back, someone commented on her "rat tail" so I couldn't have that. So I took the buzzers and did a 4. The bottom is so thick that it still is way darker than the rest, but at least it's not a tail! :)
We got to see Aunt Jacque and Uncle Curt for a couple minutes before we left for California. They are so cute! Love them!
So for Thanksgiving we got to go to California!! Yay!! It was Lexee's first longer than 2 hour car ride. And for being sick and being stuck in traffic she did pretty dang good. Slept most of the way. But if she woke up ... she told us that she didn't want to be in that carseat anymore.
The way back was the worst, it took us an hour to get from Buckeye to Avondale. We barely got into 3rd gear. That was frustrating. But anyway we made it! But back to California... it was so fun cause my cousins Casey and Sarah got to come from Utah with their husbands Christian and Derek (both of them got married this year) and I haven't seen them in so long! They are such a blast. And it was so nice to finally meet Christian in person. Sad we didn't take any pictures... but we did get pictures of the kiddos of course. Thanksgiving morning Cody (and rest of the boys) went to play that tradition football... and Shell and I took the kids to watch the boys play. Trever was CRACKIN me up with his googles and his scooter... if any of you have seen the movie Multiplicity he reminds me of Steve! hahah here's a picture...
Here are some pictures of the two cute little girls in their beautiful outfits Nonnie gave them for Christmas!
I love this picture of Lexee with Uncle Dally. So Precious
This was Saturday morning while I was getting ready to go to Shells. I love it, I felt bad waking them up.
Well that's really it for the trip... I know there is so many things I'm forgetting to blog about. That's what I get for not staying on top of this jornaling business. And I have been trying for the past 2 days to post the tour of my house, but it isn't uploading for me. So soon to come! :)
