My beautiful little girl is here, and is now 10 days old! It has been such a blast so far. She is such a good baby. She is constantly smiling, and just looking around at everything. Very observant. She sneezes a lot, poor thing, and gets the hiccups about 4 times a day. But she is a good sport about them. Doesn't fuss much. I have so many pictures and I'm having a hard time picking what to put on here. But I guess we can start with labor pictures...
so here we go...

Here I am at 5 a.m. in the morning all checked in and ready to get started.
This is during labor after I got my epideral and was taking a snooze while I could. I was put on oxygen and had my throw up dish right under it so I wouldn't have to scramble for it when it was time to use it. The epideral got me good. I couldn't even move my toes, which was a little irriating, but better that then pain. It is the craziest feeling to be that numb. From the top of my back to my toes... Cody had to do a lot of work when it came time to flipping me to my other side.

Here we are at 10 cm... They checked me at a 6 (which took a long time to get to) and then an hour and a half later, they checked and said "well, we are ready to have this baby!" I got a little nervous then, but it passed pretty quickly. Cody was SOO amazing in there. Such a great support the whole time, especially when i was getting my epideral. He was all excited to cut the cord and be in the action. And it was so awesome to have my mom there as well. There is nothing like having your mom around for these special moments. She has been SOO awesome to have at home for these past few weeks.

Here is baby Lexee getting all fixed up. She made me a little nervous when she came out all blue looking with just a little cry and then she stopped. Her eyes were WIDE open, and that was kind of freaky at first, eyes all wide and all calm like that, it just wasn't what I was expecting I guess. You just see babys come out eyes shut tight and screaming. I just wanted her to cry, but she just wanted to look around I guess. My arms were so weak I couldn't hold her for that long at first. So that's when everyone else got their chance.
I love this picture of Cody and Lex. He is just so handsome. And he has definitely softened already. He is such an amazing dad. As you can see on his right arm in the picture below is his new braclet we made that says Lexee on it. He wouldn't take of the hospital braclet until we made it. I thought that was the absolute best! So sweet!

The one thing I have thought was interesting is how well I've just transitioned. I wasn't quite ready to be done with pregnancy, but since she's come I haven't missed it one bit. I love having her here. And it's funny cause I thought it was going to take some getting used to when my belly disappeared, but now I don't even remember what it looked like. Just funny how my mind works. Well that's all the energy I have to blog for today. I'll blog again some more soon!
