9 month Stats

Holy Smokes.. here we are at 9 months!! Well we went to the Drs today and got the stats...

Height: 30 inches 97%

Weight: 19 lbs. 10 oz 75%

Head: 44 cm 50%

SOoOo ... she has maintained the 97% in the height at every appt... and was usually in the 90% for her weight, but I think the crawling and being sick has a lot to do with that. And as always, a prefect sized head! I just love my little punkie!! She is so cute!! just love to mush her cheeks and make her make funny faces and laugh!!

Things she's up to...

Lexee loves to ... *play the piano

*Climb the stairs

*Get into the fridge ... she just takes off towards it as soon as she sees you crack it open!

*play in the pantry

*be outside

*always be at my side/feet/whatever body part of mine she can get to

*eat my hair

*PULL my hair (well anyones hair really, I'm just the one she is always around)

*give great big hugs

*swing

*play or clobber other kids/babies

*make messes

*walk along the funiture

*pull herself up to standing and then wave

*waves at everything.. including the wall, toys, stairs, and sometimes people! :)

*have me blow rasberries on her tummy, neck, thigh, back...

*to laugh

She pulls this face that I call the grinch face, cause she can jet out her lower jaw, shows off her bottom two teeth, and makes a big smile at the same time. It's a hard face to pull... at least for me! I try to catch it on camara, but I have missed everytime so far.

She also does a lot of things with her tongue! Her tongue always seems to be out, and it's SOO wide, it's so cute! She does this new lizard thing lately, where it just goes in and out, and it's not like she's concentrated on doing it... she just does it!

She picks everything up in the pinchers grasp the just the thumb and index finger... making her look very prissy or high class however you want to look at it. It's funny nonetheless.

She whines all the time (Cody says Thanks to Natalie.. but don't worry Shell I don't blame her) I can hardly get anything done. I walk over and past her so much with her crying hysterically, I eventually break down and pick her up. I am weak... I won't deny it. But I don't want to miss my time with her being little, and the constant crying reminds me that I would be.

Also, don't know what has happened, but recently she does NOT really care for baths. I try to distract her with toys, but it doesn't seem to keep her attention very long. As soon as I raise the cup to wet her hair she is scrambling to get out of the bath!! So she has been taking some showers with me... but mostly cause I need to take a shower and Cody is never there to keep her distracted, and since she doesn't really take any naps... I pretty much don't have a choice but to put her in there with me. She is pretty hysterically unless I'm holding her in there. It's killer... but it does make me grateful to actually shower by myself when I get the chance.
