5 months and 2 teeth!

WHAT!!?! It's January?! and even the 12th already.... it's almost half way over! She is almost 6 months! Holy Smokes... So many things to catch up on. Between the computer virus, illnesses, going to the white mountains for Christmas, and visitors... i just haven't gotten around to the blog. So hold on we are going to get some of the stuff journaled!

So my little angel is 5 months and growing so fast. She is sitting up so well now and is so playful. Loves playing and chewing on everything. She has the funniest lizard like tongue. I keep trying to look at are 2 little teeth that just came in, the 1st one came on Saturday January 9th, and the 2nd one just yesterday. Those were some rough nights, waking up just about every hour. Poor baby :( ... But she is so happy in the day time for the most part, I don't know what it is about the night that she gets so cranky, but hopefully she gets some rest now that they are both in. So I keep trying to look at them, but she just pushes my finger out with her tongue. Silly girl. Her hair just this past week has really been taking off. I don't really know what to do with all the fuzz, but we just make a curl mohawk for now. She looks like she belongs in whoville. :) She is so cute! Lexee still hasn't rolled over since the first time she rolled with her poopy bum, except when she is on the bed, but I don't count that cause there is a helpful dip in the bed. But she is getting so snuggly when she is sleepy and gives great hugs. She is definitely becoming a momma's girl. I love it when she just grabs my face between her hands and just smiles! She is always looking for me, and if I leave the room, there can be some major yelling for me if she isn't VERY distracted. And I say yelling cause she doesn't cry all that often, just complains and yells. It's pretty funny. If she cries, I know she is in pain or something is really wrong.

Lexee has upgraded to a real bath tub since she is sitting up so well and loves to splash. We have been bathing in her little tub downstairs in the kitchen. It's been great for me cause it's a high counter which makes it ergonomically correct for me, :) and now I get to bend over and hurt my back like the rest of you moms. :(... I do LOVE bath time, I just wish there was a more comfortable way to bath them.

Taking a nap with dad at the cabin, I caught her mid talking I guess. All those funny faces she makes in her sleep are so entertaining.

This is the face she made, pretty much the entire time sledding the day after Christmas. It was pretty funny. And don't cha just love the camo. She is just so cute! Thanks Chris and Rachel for letting us borrow the snow clothes! I have a video of her sledding but it's not uploading. Cody and I both took a couple turns taking her down.

She is such a crack up. I love going in to check on her when she is sleeping, cause sometimes she will just be awake waiting for me. And she gets the biggest smile when I come in. Or if she is crying for me to come get her... As SOON as she sees someone she just snaps out of it and smiles her head off. This is after a nap (at the cabin as well). I had a hard time leaving her in the room for a nap cause she would be so happy and smiling at me, and then I would have to close the door cause I know she needed to sleep. But what a heartbreaker cause it just made me want to play with her some more! I just love my little girl. I just can't get enough!
