the unreliable spare

Here she is. Our unreliable spare tire! My other tire has been leaking for the past couple months, but I just kept waiting for it not to hold any air anymore before I got a new one. So I came home from California to a nice flat tire! I was on my way this morning to go get a new one... and not even a half a mile later did my spare give up on me. This is a first for me, so I had no clue what to do. So I just pulled over and called Cody. I didn't really have time to think about anything before a nice lady, Missy, asked if I needed a ride. So nice of her. I could have walked home, but I decided to give her the satisfaction of helping someone in need! :)
What's even greater about this story is that my van actually started for me to go to get a new tire!! For the past few months my van doesn't always start when commanded, and usually I can call Cody and when he picks up.. it miraculously starts! Well I called Cody... he didn't answer and she didn't start up. I thought my luck had finally failed me. Cody called back, and then we decided that I should call him back again and he would pick up this time and see if that's why my luck didn't work that time... So I did. And I'm not kidding you... AS SOON AS he picked up... she started up! We were laughing so hard! What a picky van I have!
And on top of all that... it's now pouring outside. Blessing after Blessing... I didn't take the freeway (which I guess is usually smart, but I'm not that bright, so I'm glad I listened to that prompting), then someone asks if I need help so quickly, then it didn't rain until after I got home. Thanks so much Heavenly Father for a pretty easy trial. ;)

Oh scary! Glad that it turned out alright. That is hilarious that your van pretty much follows Cody's command!
