Wonderful Lesson

Sis. Denise Johnson (whom I absolutely and look up to) gave such a wonderful lesson today in Relief Society. She was reiterating Elder Bednar talk "More diligent and concerned at home" and added a couple things from other talks, but it was all so wonderful! It was a talk I was so disappointed that I didn't have something to take notes on, but I took her quotes so I could at least have them to remember. She talked about anger, and had this analogy about jalapenos and grapes. If you put them both in your mouth at the same time you won't be able to taste the deliciate sweet taste of the grape because the jalapenos is too overpowering... such as anger... when you have some much anger you can't feel the love and comforting calmness that it brings. "CHOOSE NOT TO BE ANGER" ... that quote try so hard to choose not to be angry, but it is much easier said than done. I get frustrated so quick, I really want to be better at that. Then I get irritated that I am frustrated and angry just builds! So I am going to make it a goal this week to try EXTRA hard to not get angry or frustrated and to listen. We will see how long that lasts. But the quote I loved most about this lesson today was:
"ANGER DOESN'T RESOLVE ANYTHING.
IT BUILDS NOTHING.
AND CAN DESTROY EVERYTHING"

Good lesson. Remind me every day about that anger thing. It is simply a waste of time and find myself wasting a ton of time. Stop that me!!!
Love you, thanks for the fun night last night.
